World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
The upgrading of your items is a crucial aspect of equipping your character. Upgrades increase the damage of your item and enhancements.
They also offer rewards and upgrades. The Blacksmith is able to sell them to you.
The upgrade button can be found on any item. Every item recycled adds a level to the upgrade gauge.
Weapons
When a weapon is upgraded, it receives a base damage bonus, as well as a scaling factor which affects other stats. Some upgrade components have cosmetic effects, while others offer additional features. These upgrades can be slotted into weapons, armor, trinkets and gathering tools, and they generally require the equipment to have an upgrade slot that is available and meet certain specifications. The upgrade component can be removed from an armored weapon, weapon or trinket, however it will not be replaced. (Except for legendary equipment). Upgrade components can be retrieved with the help of a Black-Lion Salvage Kit or Ascended Salvage Tool, or by using a salvage tool of high-end quality on the item it self.
A weapon can also be upgraded to include a calibration attribute that boosts certain stats, such as Weakspot damage or Crit Rate. This is done via the Gear Workbench's interaction menu. This can be repeated four times, based on weapon's level.
When the weapon is at max upgrade, it can be rebuilt using a variety of different upgrade types to boost specific stats or to add bonuses and effects. Several of these upgrades can be re-applied at once, and their effects vary depending on the nature of the weapon.
Two Blacksmiths are able to perform these upgrades in the game: Blacksmith Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace and Smithing Master Hewg at the Church of Elleh hub. Both require different upgrade materials: Smithing Stones for standard weapons and Somber Smithing Stones for modifying the damage that a weapon inflicts.
In general, it's best to increase the damage of your weapon first. Then you can improve your armor defense, and then, the secondary stats required by your build. Particularly, it is common to see melee druids upgrade their weapon before they upgrade any other gear, since this will increase DPS. This is especially relevant for enchantments that increase a weapon's stats as well as damage.
Armor
Item upgrades allow players to boost the stats of certain armors, weapons trinkets and gathering tools. These upgrades can also have additional effects like increased damage or cosmetic enhancements. Item Upgrades can be obtained through crafting, buying from NPC vendors, loot drop or as rewards for quests.
The armor can be upgraded by visiting the Armorer NPC, and spending the appropriate currency. Most of the time the armor will be upgraded to the next level once an upgrade is applied. This is possible for most types of armor, but certain types of armor cannot be upgraded at all (such as the starter armor in Great Sky Island).
The majority of armor upgrades provide a small increase to an item's defense base or strength. However, some upgrade components can give significant improvements in strength or defense, particularly when upgrading an item that is epic.
Certain upgrades offer special abilities which can be activated while wearing armor. These abilities can be beneficial in combat, for instance providing a boost to attack speed or blocking. Certain upgrades also have passive effects, like decreasing the amount of damage sustained while wearing armor or granting the ability to deflect attacks.
Based on item upgrader Casesgg of armor being used, upgrading an item can require multiple attempts. For instance the case of a player wanting to upgrade a Steelclash armor to Dragonscale the first attempt will result in a brand new piece of Dragonscale with a base defense between the ages of 59-67. The second attempt would result in a new Dragonscale armor with an initial defense of 67-77, and the list goes on.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players upgrade their armor sets up to level 4. To do this it is necessary to visit each of the four locations referred to as Great Fairy Fountains in the game. Each of these locations contains a powerful fair who can change the quality of an item of armor for you.
Contrary to popular opinion, armor in The Division 2 is not useless. The reality is that certain armors have very significant boosts to poison or curse, fire, or magic damage reduction, which makes them very useful for certain builds. Potion
A potion can be upgraded by putting it in the brewing stand to unlock new effects. The upgrade unlocks a new tier of potion effect, and can be repeated to get more potency levels.
The potions also have an individual color, which can be selected by the player via the /give. The color will affect the area-of-effect clouds as well as the arrows generated. In Bedrock Edition the custom potion color is also applied to the particle effects of the potions.
The water bottle, mundane and thick potions as well as awkward potions, now have a distinct the texture of brewing. In the Creative Inventory the potion healing and weakness are now available. Trinket
A trinket is a small, inexpensive ornament or piece jewelry. It could be a necklace or ring. Or even a small banner to mark the yard of a boat. It could also be a reference to a trinket that is gilded on the mast of a ship.
This macabre trinket appears to be influencing the residents of this maze by making them more common. At present it makes all types of mimic Xx more prevalent and gives every floor the chance to have an ebony mimic. This trinket costs a moderate amount of energy to upgrade.
The magic from the enchanted scepter is believed to be affecting the dungeon itself, making it more likely to produce water and grass. At the moment, this trinket makes X% of regular floors fill with water or grass but doesn't affect enchantments or glyphs, cursed weapons or armor, or items generated to aid in the elimination of hazards.
While it appears like the normal eye of a newt this mystical item seems to be affecting your vision in ways that go beyond merely reducing your field of view. At the present time, this trinket boosts the overall health benefits of drinking potions of healing, waterskins and wells of health by X% and gives you eyesight on enemies within the Y tiles. This does not stack with Heightened Senses.
After completing the Mastery Cave after completing the Mastery Cave, you can find Trinkets by taking on Monsters and inside crates and chests in Skull Cavern. They are not found in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.
When you find a trinket that needs to be upgraded put it in the Anvil to do so. This will cause a random effect on the trinket either increasing its duration or enhancing its effects. You can reorge the Trinket for as many times as you want, though it will always have an effect that is different from the one that it had when you made it.
You can also improve your Trinkets by putting them in a Magical Catalyst at the Alchemy Station. This will cost you 6 energy and boost the trinket's power by a small amount.
